7 FACTS ABOUT ME

THE LAST BOOK SERIES I READ IN ITS ENTIRETY WAS TWILIGHT

That was at least six years ago. I’m quite ashamed of myself for not getting through a series in so long, especially considering I prefer a series to a standalone. I’m determined to change that soon!

I CANNOT MULTITASK TO SAVE MY LIFE

Seriously, it’s a miracle I can breathe and walk at the same time.

I HAVE A VEGETABLE PHOBIA

Yes, it’s a real thing. It stems from my OCD, which is very food and germ-based. It’s only this year that I’ve been able to try and tackle it. I can now eat carrots and onions (as long as they’re diced very finely). I’m still terrified but I don’t immediately start crying when I’m around vegetables. Although, I still have trouble touching and eating them.

I SPENT MY NINTH BIRTHDAY IN FLORDIA

And I almost ended up getting my foot broken by Goofy.

MY FIRST EVER CELEBRITY CRUSH WAS ORLANDO BLOOM

Legolas. Need I say any more?

I’M TERRIFIED OF HORSES

The first – and only time – I went horseriding was when I was about four or five. I ended up getting kicked in the leg by a horse. I was extremely lucky that I didn’t break my leg. Since then, I’ve been too afraid to go near a horse.

I’VE NEVER BROKEN A BONE

With the number of accidents I’ve had over the years and how naturally clumsy I am, it might come as a surprise to you that I’ve never actually broken a bone. I’ve come close a few times, like the incident with Goofy and the horse mentioned, but never broken anything. I’m honestly not sure how I’ve managed to go this long without a broken bone or two.

I’m not sure if you’ve been nominated before (I’m sure you all probably have) but I wanted to nominate fifteen of my favourite blogs and bloggers to let you know I appreciate the content you make. I adore you all.

Well done on starting to tackle your phobia! That’s amazing. I was once told by an old lecturer that we can’t actually multitask, we just like to think we can, so I just go with that, haha πŸ™‚

Thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense, I’m definitely going to be using that from now on haha!

I’ve never heard of vegetable phobia, but it sounds horrible! But congrats on starting to conquer it, that must be very tough.

Thank you! It wasn’t something I ever thought was a valid phobia because I had never heard of it before or heard of anyone else suffering from it, but the official name is apparently lachanophobia! It’s super tough, especially as vegetables are in so many things, I never realised just how many, but I’m slowly getting there.

Thank you so much for the kind words! So lovely to know more about you 😊 Horses aren’t my thing either – I rode one once when I was young and almost fell off so haven’t tried again πŸ˜‚ Great post!

Thank you! I don’t blame you for not ‘getting back on the horse’ (that was pretty bad πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚)

This is such a great post Kelly! I’ve never heard of a vegetable phobia, but I’m glad it isn’t as bad as it used to be. I’m curious how Goofy nearly broke your foot in Florida, he he. I’m not great at multitasking either, I just like to focus on one thing at a time. Thank you for sharing, really interesting post! <3 xx

      Thank you, Bexa!
It’s a pretty bizarre phobia, haha. Me too! I’m tackling it one vegetable at a time πŸ˜‚ We went to meet the characters and Goofy stood on my foot – the costume is really heavy! The person inside didn’t realise they were standing on me. My foot was all swollen afterwards πŸ™ˆ
